In this blog post, we, as SSI community members, came together to explore community building.
Our aim was to answer a fundamental question: How do you create and nurture a thriving community?
Throughout our discussion, we uncovered some valuable insights that we'd like to share. We emphasized the importance of a clear and purposeful mission statement, connecting with existing community leaders, dedicating genuine effort to community building, and the ongoing commitment required to keep a community vibrant.
We also stressed the significance of establishing a Code of Conduct from the outset and fostering strong bonds among community members.
Lastly, we acknowledged that patience is key, as community development is a journey that takes time. We hope these insights prove useful to others on their own community-building journeys.
